Paper
Paper is a thin material mainly used for writing upon, printing upon, drawing or for packaging. It is produced by pressing together moist fibres, typically derived from wood, rags or grasses, and drying them into flexible sheets.

Portrait- vertical layout of the paper where the shorter side is at the top
Landscape- horizontal layout of the paper where the longer side is at the top.
Types of Papers
- Bond Paper- This is a high quality paper used for letter head.
- Flimsy Paper- This is a cheaper, lighter grade paper used for letter making carbon copies, it is usually lighter than the bond paper.
- Airmail Paper- This is a very thin (light weight) paper used for correspondence sent by airmail.
- Duplicating Paper- This is a semi absorbent paper used for duplicating
- N.C.R. (No Carbon Required)- These are copying paper used for set of forms such as invoices, delivery notes and school receipts
- Parchment Paper- This is an elegant paper used for special hand written letters such as for wedding invitations and other special occasions
- Onion Skin paper- This is a very light weight almost transparent paper which resembles the skin of an onion such as those used to make bible leaves or for art tracing

- A1- Used for posters
- A2- Smaller posters and also used for architecture diagrams
- A3- Also known as legal size paper and is used to prepare financial documents such as balance sheets
- A4- Also known as letter size paper and used for business letters and reports
- A5- Used for short letters and memos (half of A4)
- A6- Used for post cards, index cards and vouchers (half of A5)
- A7- Used for large address labels (half of A6)
- A8- Used for small address labels and business cards (half of A7)
